At FURISTO, we offer menus for two main age groups: babies from around 7 months, once the main food groups have been introduced, and children over 1 year old.

For our youngest children, aged 7 to 12 months, we offer two menus: 

FURISTO BABY - A fully puréed menu with no added salt or sugar, and free from dairy, gluten, and eggs.

ZELENO FURISTO - A menu made entirely with organic ingredients and pasture-raised meat, with no added salt, sugar, or cow’s milk. It can also be fully puréed upon request — simply leave us a note in the comments section when placing your order.

For children over 1 year old, we offer three menus: FURISTO, FURISTO VEGGIE, FURISTO BEZZ and FURISTO DUO.

These menus have a soft, finely chopped texture with small pieces. For soups, we alternate between clear soups and creamy soups, while desserts include both creamy desserts and baked treats. We do not use added sugar, and we season our meals with a minimal amount of salt — below the limit set by Bulgarian Regulation No. 2 on children’s nutrition.

FURISTO BEZZ - A menu suitable for children with gluten and dairy intolerances, but not for children with gluten or dairy allergies.

We offer two types of food texture – fully puréed or served in small pieces, depending on the child’s age and the weaning approach chosen by the family.

The menus that can be ordered puréed are FURISTO BEBE and ZELENO FURISTO.  FURISTO BEBE is always fully puréed, while ZELENO FURISTO can be puréed upon request – simply leave us a note in the comments section when placing your order.

The other menus are in small pieces : ZELENO FURISTO, FURISTO, FURISTO VEGGIE, FURISTO BEZZ and FURISTO DUO.

These menus have a soft texture and are served in small pieces. The vegetables are finely diced, while the meat is shredded into small pieces. When meatballs are included in the menu, we serve them whole – they are soft and can easily be mashed with a fork, while their shape also makes them easy for little hands to pick up.

For soups, we alternate between clear and creamy soups, while desserts include both creamy desserts and baked treats. This allows children to experience different textures and consistencies and gradually discover food in its different forms.

Our menus served in pieces are also suitable for families who have chosen the Baby-Led Weaning (BLW) approach.

For us, even when deciding on food texture, one principle always comes first – helping children build a connection with real food from an early age and discover its natural colours, shapes and textures.

The period between approximately 10 and 24 months is filled with curiosity and a desire to explore. That is why we want to give children the opportunity not only to eat, but also to see, touch and taste different foods.

We do not want every meal to look like a uniform purée where it is difficult to recognise what is actually in it. That is why we avoid unnecessary blending and do not thicken our food with flour or starch.

With us, you can see the real food.

A bean looks like a bean. A pea is a little green pea. A carrot is an orange piece of carrot.

We want children to get to know real food from nature – to see it, taste it and gradually learn to love it.

The menus that can be ordered puréed are FURISTO BEBE and ZELENO FURISTO. 

FURISTO BEBE is always fully puréed, while if you would like ZELENO FURISTO to be puréed, simply leave us a note in the comments section when placing your order.

There is one small exception with puréed ZELENO FURISTO – some of our desserts are baked treats, which, of course, cannot be puréed. But don’t worry – for many little ones, these become a favourite way to soothe their gums while teething. Children love nibbling on the crust or small pieces of the baked treats while gradually discovering a new texture. And if your child is not yet ready to eat them this way, you can easily soften them by soaking them in yoghurt for an afternoon snack or adding small pieces to their soup.​

The other menus are served in small pieces: FURISTO, FURISTO VEGGIE, FURISTO BEZZ and FURISTO DUO. These dishes cannot be puréed by us. However, if needed, you can easily blend the food at home if some of the pieces seem too large, or simply mash it with a fork until you reach the texture that feels right for your child.

Little ones develop quickly, and their preferences and ability to manage different textures can change from week to week. This makes it easy for parents to adjust the texture at home and offer the consistency their child is comfortable with and ready for at that particular stage.

 If you would like to order food for Saturday as well, you will find a menu called “Friday Extra” in the “Menu” and “Order”sections of our website.

This is an additional, second menu that you receive together with your Friday order and can keep for Saturday. This means that on Friday you receive two different menus – the regular Friday menu and “Friday Extra”, which is intended for the weekend.

Weekly Subscription

Weekly subscriptions are available for the following menus:

FURISTO BEBE,

FURISTO,

FURISTO GRANDE,

FURISTO DUO,

ZELENO FURISTO,

ZELENO FURISTO GRANDE.

Each weekly subscription includes 6 menus. On Friday, you receive two menus – the regular Friday menu and an additional menu that you can keep for the weekend.

With a weekly subscription, you save approximately €0.50 per menu. The exact discount is calculated based on the menu you choose.

Monthly Subscription

For even greater convenience, you can choose a monthly subscription. Monthly subscriptions are available for our most popular menus:

FURISTO BEBE,

FURISTO,

FURISTO GRANDE,

FURISTO DUO,

ZELENO FURISTO,

ZELENO FURISTO GRANDE.

You can order a monthly subscription for the following month during the last 10 days of the current month.

The subscription starts on the first Monday of the new month and continues through the week in which the month ends. You can find the exact start and end dates for each monthly subscription in the “Subscriptions” article in the “Useful Information” section of our website.

With a monthly subscription, you save approximately €1 per menu. The exact amount you save depends on the menu you choose and the number of days included in the subscription for that particular month.

The savings shown for our weekly and monthly subscriptions are calculated based on delivery to your address and may vary slightly depending on the menu you choose and, for monthly subscriptions, the number of days included.

FURISTO DUO and  FURISTO DUO GRANDE are ours two-course menu, including a soup and a main dish, without dessert.

Извън София може да поръчате всички менюта с изключение на ZELENO FURISTO. Запитванията за това меню, включващо изцяло био съставки и пасищно месо, за момента са прекалено малко, за да успяваме да поддържаме тези скъпи суровини в наличност извън София. 

Но вярваме и заедно работим по въпроса това скоро да се промени!

Менюто е подходящо за деца с нетолерантности към лактоза и глутен. Не е подходящо за деца със силно изразени алергии. В такива случаи, първо се консултирайте с педиатър, за да обсъдите и направите подходяща диета/схема на хранене.

Цяло яйце от свободно отгеждани кокошки.

Млечните продукти се заместват предимно с овесено мляко без глутен, кокосово или оризово мляко. Количеството протеин се компенсира с повече варива и месни продукти.

The packaging in which the food arrives varies. ZELENO FURISTO uses entirely biodegradable packaging placed in a paper envelope. In all the rest FURISTO menus, we use recycled plastic, BPA-free, and the food is entirely chilled to avoid harmful contact with plastic, which happens when you take food or coffee home in hot conditions, even in paper packaging. They even have a plastic coating to prevent leakage. The FURISTO boxes are placed in a cardboard holder for easy carrying, which are reusable and can be returned to us. Both FURISTO and ZELENO FURISTO strive to help conserve nature.
